Morning Stillness captures a meadow at the first light of day. Soft mist drifts across the grass and wildflowers, while the rising sun glows gently through the haze and the sky takes on a delicate lilac tone. The soft transition between lilac sky, warm sunlight and muted greens gives the painting a dreamlike atmosphere.
Painted in oil, this original artwork reflects the stillness of early morning and the gentle moment when darkness gives way to light.

A Sense of Stillness
My work is inspired by quiet landscapes, changing light and the subtle beauty of Nordic nature. After more than thirty years, I returned to oil painting with a deeper appreciation for stillness, creativity and the moments that invite us to pause.
